Institutional Effectiveness Report Card and Critical Success Factors
Both the Report Card and Critical Success Factors report publish specific information concerning how Wake Tech meets the twelve
performance measures (updated on an annual basis) established by the North Carolina General Assembly to gauge the accountability level
of each of the fifty-eight institutions in the North Carolina Community College System. A portion (two percent) of their operating budgets
(58 community colleges) will be directly linked to six (measures one through five are permanently set by the General Assembly, the sixth measure
is identified by each college) of these benchmark measures (Progress of basic skills students; Passing rate for licensure and certification examinations;
Goal completion of program completers; Employment status of graduates; Performance of college transfer students; and Employers satisfaction with graduates).
