Welcome to Institutional Effectiveness and Research

What is Institutional Effectiveness?

Institutional Effectiveness is a cyclical process that involves the following steps:

  1. Establish meaningful goals
  2. Develop strategies to accomplish these goals
  3. Assess and evaluate the outcomes from these specific strategies
  4. Apply the knowledge gained from this process to improve tasks

This process should concentrate on the knowledge gained from this activity and not be exclusively focused on reaching set goals. The purpose of institutional effectiveness is to develop strategies geared towards improving instructional and administrative services at the college.
